Granada is a fast-growing outsourcing provider of client support services.  We partner with each client, tailoring our services, to meet their specific business needs. These services range from customer service, data management, technical support, and sales, just to name a few.


MAIN OBJECTIVE:

  • Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate new and existing Microsoft Windows server operating systems and user workstations.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software/hardware, networking, printer, server, and application issues.
  • Maintain inventory control asset management of computer equipment.
  • Provide support to local & remote users.
  • Support LAN-based applications including switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
  • Monitor and respond to system, service, and networking alerts.
  • Monitor and maintain antivirus solution.
  • Monitor backups as well as scheduled server and workstation maintenance.
  • Regularly confer with team members, and users regarding current and prospective system changes and future needs.
  • Communicate with external vendors for issue resolution.
  • Performs any other related duties as assigned by the CTO.

Skills:

  • Must possess an Associate's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field or 2+ Years of practical IT Experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize a variety of support questions and user needs.
  • Knowledge of Internet protocols and services including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Knowledge of sound practices in network troubleshooting and computer security.
  • Open mind and a willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Experience working with hardware and software installation and upgrades.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.

Experience:

  • Administering corporate applications which include Active Directory, Exchange 2010. (+2 years)
  • Design, implement, install, configure, upgrade, patch, maintain and monitor all physical and virtual machines in the windows environment. (+2 years)
  • Help Desk ticket system.
  • Knowledge of server technologies (Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, AD, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Microsoft BackOffice). (+2 years)
  • Experience with Local Area Networks and LAN switches.
  • Experience installing/administrating VOIP/telephony systems. (+1 years)
